About the District

The Waterloo Morada Fire District is located in San Joaquin County and provides all-risk fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the towns of Waterloo and Morada. Serving 36 square miles, Waterloo Morada Fire District operates out of 2 fire stations and is composed of a Fire Chief, an Administrative Assistant, and 21 line personnel. Our 2 engine companies are each staffed with a Company Officer, a Driver/Operator, and a Firefighter 24/7 and work a traditional 48/96 schedule on an A-B-C shift rotation. The Fire District operates many pieces of equipment, including 2 type 1 engines, 1 type 3 engine, 1 type 5 engine, a water tender, an OES type 1 engine, and several utility vehicles.
